- Valid passports minimum of 6 months before the expiration date.
- For the most updated visa regulations for your country of origin, please refer to the official Vietnamese government website: *https://evisa.gov.vn/*.
- There are countries that have visa exemption, you can read more about it here.
- TIP: Make sure there are no errors in spelling all names or birthdays when completing visa application.
The cost varies depending on the number of persons, activities, accommodation, transportation and the duration of the trips.
This applies to both day tours and longer trips.
For this reason, we create custom quotes for each request.
No vaccinations are mandatory, but some are recommended.
Make sure you are up to date with your usual vaccinations and those required for the area you will be visiting!
- It is recommended to be up-to-date with diphtheria-tetanus-polio (DTP) and measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccinations.
- Vaccination against tuberculosis (BCG) is also recommended, especially for longer stays.
- Depending on local travel conditions, vaccinations against typhoid fever and viral hepatitis A and B are recommended.
For trips to isolated rural areas in Vietnam:
- Vaccination against rabies (preventive vaccination does not dispense with curative treatment, which should be started as soon as possible in the event of proven or suspected exposure) and
- Japanese encephalitis are strongly recommended.
- Yes. The Vietnamese government requires all travellers booking with a local travel agency to have valid travel health insurance. This does not need to include trip cancellation coverage - just health-related expenses.
- There is not specific coverage requirements, so choose the provider and policy that best suits your needs
- If you're paying with a credit card, check with your provider, as many credit cards include some level of travel insurance.
- As part of our standard booking confirmation process, we’ll ask you to provide proof of required health insurance. It needs to cover the full duration of your Vietnam travel dates.
